The state-of-the-art complex in Katy, Texas features indoor practice fields, player recovery amenities, and a museum celebrating franchise history.

The Kansas City Chiefs unveiled their new training complex on Thursday, a $1.8 billion facility that ranks among the most advanced in professional sports. The 50-acre campus in Katy, Texas, replaces the team's longtime headquarters in Missouri and features indoor practice fields, comprehensive player recovery amenities, and a museum dedicated to the franchise's Super Bowl legacy.

"This facility represents our commitment to providing our players and staff with every resource to succeed," said Chiefs owner Clark Hunt. "From the nutrition center to the recovery suite, every element has been designed with player development in mind."

The complex includes three full-size outdoor practice fields, two indoor domes with FieldTurf surfaces, a 60,000-square-foot performance center with strength and conditioning equipment, and a hydrotherapy complex featuring cold plunge pools and hyperbaric chambers.

The facility's museum chronicles the Chiefs' history from their founding as the Dallas Texans in 1960 through their recent Super Bowl victories, including interactive exhibits where visitors can experience game-day atmospheres and learn about legendary players.

The move to Texas has sparked debate among Missouri politicians and fans, with some arguing the team abandoned its roots. The Chiefs maintain that the new location provides better access to the team's growing national fan base while remaining within driving distance of Kansas City.
