In the wake of Sean “Diddy” Combs’ recent arrest on serious charges, singer Pink has firmly denied any connection to the music mogul, addressing swirling rumors that she deleted social media posts related to him.

Combs was taken into custody on September 16 in New York City, facing allegations of sex trafficking and sexual assault. Following his arrest, speculation surfaced that several celebrities, including Pink, were distancing themselves from him by purging their social media accounts of any past associations.

On September 26, Pink took to Instagram to clarify the situation, stating that her decision to delete her X (formerly Twitter) account was made months prior. She shared a screenshot of a post from February 6, which announced her intention to remove the account, humorously noting, “This account will self-destruct in two minutes.”

In her post, Pink asserted, “I don’t know why I became a headline this week, but I wiped my Twitter account on February 6!!!” She emphasized that the rumors were unfounded, insisting, “There is no truth to the rumors spread this week.”

While acknowledging that she may have encountered some individuals in passing, Pink made it clear that she has no connection to anyone involved in Combs’ ongoing legal case. Combs’ arrest followed a grand jury indictment revealing charges of sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation for prostitution. His lawyer, Marc Agnifilo, has vehemently denied the allegations, claiming that Combs is “an innocent man with nothing to hide.”

Pink’s statement effectively distances her from any speculation surrounding her involvement with Combs’ legal troubles, reiterating that her social media activity was unrelated to his situation. As the news continues to unfold, Pink’s proactive clarification serves as a reminder of the challenges celebrities face in the realm of public perception and rumor.
