Costco issues statement after Diddys lawyer claims he may have bought 1000 bottles of baby oil there

Costco has issued a statement after Diddy’s lawyer made a bizarre claim that the star may have bought ‘1000 bottles of baby oil’ from their stores.

As reported, Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs is currently behind bars at the Metropolitan Detention Center (MDC) in New York.

He is being detained following his arrest at the Park Hyatt Hotel in Manhattan on Monday, September 16.

The rapper has been charged with sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation to engage in prostitution, according to Sky News.

He has pleaded not guilty but has been denied bail twice, despite offering a $50 million bail package.

During their investigation, federal agents reportedly found over 1,000 bottles of baby oil in Diddy’s Miami residence, per the Daily Mail.

Earlier this week, Diddy’s attorney, Marc Agnifilo, offered an explanation for the stockpile during an interview.

“I don’t think it was 1,000. I think it was a lot. I mean, there is a Costco right down the street. I think Americans buy in bulk, as we know,” Agnifilo told the New York Post.

He added: “These are consensual adults doing what consensual adults do. We can’t get so puritanical in this country to think that somehow sex is a bad thing because if it was, there would be no more people.”

However, on Thursday, Costco, the membership-only retail giant, told TMZ that baby oil is not sold at any of its locations across the U.S.

In addition to the large quantity of baby oil, prosecutors reported finding bondage materials, sex tapes, hidden cameras, and specially designed rooms for these performances.

According to the indictment, Diddy has also been accused of orchestrating drug-fueled sexual encounters, known as “Freak Offs,” involving both female victims and male sex workers, per FOX News.

His lawyer, Marc Agnifilo, declared his client’s innocence, and described the “freak offs” as consensual: “Is it sex trafficking? Not if everybody wants to be there.”

Combs has been sued by a number of people who say he physically or sexually abused them.

His former girlfriend, singer Cassie, is one of the women who have made claims against him.

If convicted on all charges, Diddy faces a mandatory minimum sentence of 15 years in prison, with the possibility of life behind bars.ាំ
