Taylor Swift has no-showed Travis Kelce’s last two appearances for the Kansas City Chiefs.
The defending Super Bowl champions aren’t worse for it as they have won both games, taking their record to 4-0 with a win over the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday despite losing Rashee Rice to a serious knee injury early in the game.
Still, some fans are still worried that something might be up.
Page Six reports that security concerns were among the factors that led Taylor to decide not to travel to L.A. to support Kelce over the weekend.
She also decided against traveling to Atlanta for the Week 3 fixture against the Falcons.
According to said publication, Swift is comfortable attending games at Arrowhead Stadium but is hesitant to show up at other venues.
“If she is going to a place that isn’t Arrowhead, there are security concerns,” they write, citing a source. “She has worked with Arrowhead so many times, they feel at ease and comfortable. Going to all kinds of different stadiums, you need to send a team in advance.”

Taylor Swift Is Likely Being Extra Cautious Lately
Taylor Swift may still be spooked after an ISIS terror plot forced her to cancel parts of her tour in Vienna, Austria. Authorities received intelligence that allowed them to ensure her safety, but it would be natural for her to remain wary.
The outlet notes that the recent terror plot did factor into Taylor choosing not to travel as much, but she has joined the Chiefs on the road before, making notable appearances in New Jersey, Green Bay, New England, Buffalo, and Baltimore last season.
She was also present when the AFC team won a second successive Super Bowl at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas this February.
In any case, it would be unreasonable to expect the pop star to attend every single Chiefs game. She has her own thing going on.
