Taylor Swift's Chiefs game schedule revealed after popstar 'held showdown phone calls' with struggling boyfriend Travis Kelce

The 14-time Grammy Award winner has often cheered on Kelce at Chiefs games

Taylor Swift’s plans for the rest of the NFL season have been revealed, according to a report, after the singer was absent from boyfriend Travis Kelce’s game at the weekend.

Sunday marked the second consecutive Chiefs game that the songstress has missed this season, sparking unwarranted speculation that the couple may be on the rocks.

However, it has now been reported that Swift was instead taking one for the team.

The tight end has struggled amid a slow start to the season as the undefeated Chiefs target a historic Super Bowl three-peat and the ‘Fortnight’ singer is said to want to further protect Kelce from the spotlight, according to The US Sun.

‘Taylor wants to keep it low key to protect Travis from possible extra criticism,’ an insider reportedly told the outlet.

‘She loves him and knows that he will bounce back, but she is ready to skip some games so he doesn’t have to deal with more pressure.’

In a reported move to shift the pressure off her NFL beau, Swift has allegedly decided to scale back her gameday appearances.

The 14-time Grammy Award winner will reportedly ‘most likely only go to home games for the next few weeks when her schedule allows her to.’

DailyMail.com has contacted Swift’s team for comment.

The hitmaker is also tied to a busy schedule of her own with Swift set to hit the road once again for the final leg of her Eras Tour.

Swift will undoubtedly hit the rehearsal studio before kickstarting the final stint of her wildly successful international tour in Toronto on November 14.

She resumes her sold-out shows with three in Miami beginning on October 18, before also playing New Orleans and Indianapolis.

The pop superstar will then travel north to play six shows at Rogers Centre before wrapping up with a final three in Vancouver on December 6, 7 and 8.

The singer owns a house in LA and had been expected to take her place in a VIP suite at SoFi Stadium to watch her man.

However, Swift’s decision to skip the Chiefs’ 17-10 victory over the Los Angeles Chargers was a reportedly last-minute one.

The A-List couple are said to have talked on the phone the day before the reigning Super Bowl winners’ trip to Inglewood with the songstress making the decision not to attend ‘so as not to bring any unnecessary attention,’ according to The US Sun.

The insider insisted that both Swift and Kelce are confident that the NFL veteran will bounce back from his slump.

Kelce did silence his critics at the weekend, amassing 89 yards – more than in his first three games combined – and made a franchise-record 917th reception.
