In Episode 3 of Agatha All Along, a significant Marvel Comics character was name-dropped. While Mephisto has been referenced as early as the 2012 Avengers film, Agatha All Along explicitly mentions him, raising hopes that he may actually appear in the show.

Fans experienced similar anticipation during WandaVision, where Mephisto was indirectly hinted at as the villain, only to be left disappointed. However, with Agatha All Along, there is a genuine reason for the excitement this time around.

Mephisto may not make an appearance in Agatha All Along, but he is confirmed to appear in Ironheart, a Disney+ series slated for a 2025 release.

Ironheart will center on Riri Williams, who is regarded as Tony Stark’s successor in the MCU. However, her standalone show is described as a blend of technology, magic, and demons, with the young superhero likely needing to leverage her tech skills to tackle supernatural threats.

Deadline reported two years ago that Mephisto would appear in the show, with Sacha Baron Cohen allegedly cast in the role. According to the same reports, Mephisto is set to make his debut in Ironheart, which was initially expected to premiere before Agatha All Along.

Additionally, Anthony Ramos will portray the villain The Hood, who sold his soul to Mephisto, further supporting this theory.

The original report indicated that Mephisto would appear in Episodes 5 and 6, but the specifics of his role remain unclear at this time. The supernatural aspect of the MCU is more thrilling than ever, especially with rumors circulating about the development of the Midnight Sons project, which is expected to be linked to Mephisto as well.
