If you've been eyeing a board game deal in Amazon’s October Prime Day, it's time to either pull the trigger or give up on it. Prime Day ends at midnight. And while some of the deals will take a while to switch back to regular price (they always do, it's wild), some will go away right on the deadline. But while it lasts, lots of popular board game favorites are still on sale, many of them at the lowest price they’ve ever been. So if you're on the fence, now's the time to choose which side you're hopping off.

A wide range of board games are on sale, from beginner fantasy games to more challenging campaign-based ones. For those who meet up to play board games regularly, Pandemic Legacy is a great campaign board game to own if you have a game group because it has you play a series of game sessions, each one leading into the next. Also good for groups are Catan and Ticket to Ride, both great beginner board games for people interested in getting into the kinds of deeper games on the list.
Dominion and Splendor are fantastic engine-building games that can become quite cutthroat as you and your opponents piece together resource-making machines. Azul is a beautiful game that’s easy enough to learn that you can play it with the whole family. And, if you like board games based on video games, you’re in luck here. There’s not one, but two games based on Bloodborne, the video game that everyone wants to be remastered but maybe never will(?)
