In a recent Q&A, a fan asked Alex Perez about the possible return of characters from The Defenders in the MCU, specifically whether Krysten Ritter, Mike Colter, and Finn Jones would reprise their roles, along with Simone Missick’s Misty Knight, Jessica Henwick’s Colleen Wing, and Elodie Yung’s Elektra.
Alex mentioned he had heard rumors regarding Colleen Wing but didn’t have any updates.
Fans also asked about the potential for a Heroes for Hire TV series if Colter and Jones were to return, to which Alex showed enthusiasm, noting that many fans would love to see it.
The last question addressed how Iron Fist might be handled differently, with Alex suggesting that Danny Rand could become the master of the next Iron Fist. When asked if any Defenders might appear in Daredevil: Born Again, Alex replied that while they probably wouldn’t appear in season one, there would be teases, especially for Jessica.
What Perez mentioned aligns with Ritter’s recent hints and the ongoing rumors about her joining the MCU. These rumors also support the potential Heroes for Hire TV show, even though Mike Colter recently stated he “doesn’t think about” Luke Cage at all.
