David Beckham makes Jude Bellingham feel ‘a bit less attractive’ as the Real Madrid and England star reflects on disregarding the advice to never meet your heroes

Jude Bellingham, a Real Madrid and England star, says she feels “a bit uglier” after meeting David Beckham, reflecting on the wisdom to never meet your heroes.

Jude Bellingham acknowledges that he felt “uglier” after meeting David Beckham, but the Real Madrid star is content that he disregarded the advice to “don’t meet your heroes.”

Consequently, what happened?

Present-day England player Bellingham moved to Santiago Bernabeu in 2023, following in the footsteps of former Three Lions leader Beckham. In his first season, the 21-year-old scored 23 goals and won both the La Liga and Champions League, making him a revelation in Spain.

Beckham, who has imitated Bellingham’s well-known celebration on social media, has praised the aforementioned actions and has been selected as the cover star for EAFC 25. Bellingham collaborated with Beckham, who has his own “Icon” card, as part of the advertising for that game.

THOUGHS OF BELLINGHAM

Bellingham remarked of rubbing shoulders with Becks on his “Out of the Floodlights” YouTube series: “You know, it’s really an honor.” Never meet your heroes is a common saying, and although I have met Beckham, I have always thought he’s an incredible guy who comes down to earth, no matter how well-known he is or how much success he has had in his work or personal life. He makes me appear slightly more unattractive, but if it’s on the cover of a video game, you can learn to live with it.

WERE YOU AWARENESS?

Bellingham said, “I’ve played every single EA since I was six or seven,” in reference to his recent role as the face of EA Sports’ FC franchise. Reminiscent moments revolve around a little television and a few broken controllers, strewn all over the place, as you play video games with people you never would have imagined playing against or meeting. And then all of a, I’m playing and meeting these players while I’m on the cover. It feels so surreal, and I’m quite appreciative that I got the opportunity to do it.
