Insider Reveals More Information about Doctor Strange's Future and Whether the Character Will Die in the MCU

The standalone sequel to the critically acclaimed Doctor Strange was titled Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. This film introduced the MCU’s titular superhero. Sam Raimi directed the movie, featuring Strange facing Wanda Maximoff, the Scarlet Witch, who had completed her seemingly evil transformation.

Although critics received the movie well, its lackluster plot has likely led to its status as one of the worst MCU films.

Despite the film’s reception, Doctor Strange remains one of the most significant characters in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. He is likely to play a larger role as the story unfolds, especially with the Multiverse Saga and the arrival of Doctor Doom. So, what about a third solo movie?

Rumors about Strange getting (and needing!) a third solo movie have been out there for some time, but no precise information has been given. sted Hollywood insider, who goes by the name The InSneider, reveals that a deal is close to being signed, so keep reading for more!

Several months ago, Benedict Cumberbatch was asked about the possibility of Doctor Strange 3 being made, and he said the following:

“Who knows! We will see. We will find out. I’m not sure where he’s been and what he’s been up to and who with, but yeah, I know as little as you.”

Of course, this was very discouraging, and the fans started to worry about the fate of the movie. Sure, let’s be honest, Multiverse of Madness was not even near a perfect film, but it wasn’t that bad, i.e., not “cancel the whole series” level bad. It had a lot of potential, and with a better screenplay, the character definitely deserved a third movie. Strange earned it.

While there have been no new updates or rumors since then, popular industry insider The InSneider claims that the movie is still being made, and he also has some great rumors for us. Namely, according to Sneider, Doctor Strange 3 is happening, and Marvel is very close to finishing a deal with Sam Raimi to return as director.

Raimi is a beloved comic book movie director. Fans will be happy to hear he is returning to the franchise. With a better screenplay, he can do justice to the character. This rumor is exciting. We hope someone confirms it soon, as the suspense is wearing everyone down, and we don’t like it.
