Excitement for Daredevil: Born Again is heating up as its release gets closer, and we’re starting to see some intense moments from the set. While the show isn’t due for another six months, the buzz around it keeps growing, especially after leaked footage surfaced online. Fans are getting a sneak peek at the brutal action we’ve been waiting for.
The cast is returning with familiar faces, including Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock, Vincent D’Onofrio back as Kingpin, Elden Henson as Foggy, and Deborah Ann Woll as Karen. After the original content for the series was reportedly scrapped, reshoots were done, and what we’re seeing now looks pretty intense.
A clip shared by Comicodigy on X seems to show Daredevil in action. While we can’t confirm if this footage is final, the suit in the video matches earlier set leaks, so it’s likely legit.
The caption on the video says, ‘You can’t tell me this isn’t Daredevil season 4,’ hinting that the new series is keeping the same gritty vibe as the Netflix version. And based on what we’re hearing from the show’s creators, that’s exactly what we should expect.
Brad Winderbaum even compared Daredevil: Born Again to Game of Thrones, describing New York as a place where different groups are constantly struggling for control.
Vincent D’Onofrio, who plays Kingpin, has already said he’s surprised by how far the show goes, admitting that there’s one scene with his character that he didn’t think would make it into the final cut. That’s saying something, considering how dark the original show was.
We’re also hearing about action scenes that sound like throwbacks to the intense fights Daredevil is known for. Charlie Cox even revealed that Jon Bernthal, who plays The Punisher, almost broke one of his ribs during filming. If that doesn’t get you hyped, I don’t know what will.
It’s clear that Daredevil: Born Again is shaping up to be one of the darkest and most action-packed series in the MCU. With the return of the original cast and some wild fight scenes teased, we’re in for something special when the show finally drops.
