MrBeast slammed for his ‘cringey’ behavior in recent TikTok and called ‘reason for brain rot’

MrBeast, real name Jimmy Donaldson, shared a video on Tiktok of himself treating a movie theater full of people to his Lunchly meals and watched the Talk Tuah podcast

MrBeast is no stranger to controversy.

The famous YouTuber is getting heat online for one of his latest TikTok videos where he rented out an entire movie theater for friends and fans to watch an episode of the Talk Tuah podcast hosted by Hailey Welch, best known for being the viral “Hawk Tuah” girl. MrBeast, real name Jimmy Donaldson, also treated everyone in the theater to one of his Lunchly meals.

Lunchly is marketed as a “healthy alternative” to Lunchables and it was created as a collaboration between MrBeast and fellow influencers Logan Paul and KSI. Besides the controversy that Lunchly brings, MrBeast got a lot of comments on social media about his TikTok video.

“MrBeast is the main reason for brain rot on this earth,” one social media user wrote on X, formally known as Twitter. Another added: “Actually the most cringey thing I’ve ever seen physically uncomfortable watching this.”

A third commented: “These kinda people are famous…we have failed as a society.” A fourth chimed in that “this generation is absolutely cooked.”

MrBeast’s TikTok was captioned: “This is the best day of my life #talktuah #ksi,” and added three fire emojis. His onscreen text read: “POV: You rent a theater to watch talk tuah, listen to KSI, and eat lunchly.”

Hailey has promoted Lunchly on her podcast’s Instagram page. In a video, she dug into the Fiesta Nachos version of the meal and told the camera: “I like my cheese drippy, bruh.”

The meal comes in three versions, Fiesta Nachos, Pizza, and Turkey Stack Ems. Every meal comes with a bottle of Prime Hydration, an energy drink produced by Logan and KSI, and a Feastables milk chocolate bar, created by MrBeast.

MrBeast said in a statement that the trio hoped to “disrupt the lunch market for kids with healthier, better-tasting options” and described their product as a “groundbreaking new better-for-you lunch option.” Meanwhile, people online claimed that it wasn’t as healthy as it seemed.

The YouTuber took to X to clap back. “Lunchables sells hundreds of millions of units and countless people eat it. Our goal is to give people a better for you alternative to it,” he wrote, “Our turkey meal for example is 80 less calories, 60% less sugar, more electrolytes, we use real cheese they use ‘cheese product’ (they can’t call it cheese), higher quality meat, etc.”
