Currently in production at the stunning Durdle Door in Dorset, England, ‘The Fantastic Four: First Steps’ offers a fresh glimpse of Joseph Quinn donning the fiery suit of Johnny Storm, also known as the Human Torch.

Captured walking alone on the beach before pausing to gaze at the advancing tide, Quinn’s portrayal hints at a pensive side to his character, amidst the iconic landscape that might double as an alien planet or a spot in the UK.

Joseph Quinn steps into a role previously filled by notable actors like Chris Evans and Michael B. Jordan. Despite the big shoes to fill, Quinn is carving out his own path. ‘We’ve been training for a while, and my trainer Tim is pushing me to the limits,’ Quinn shared earlier this year. He respects the legacy of the Torch but is determined to bring his unique touch to the character.

Joining Quinn in the cast are Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic, Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm/Invisible Woman, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Ben Grimm/The Thing.

The film will also introduce new characters, with Ralph Ineson playing the menacing Galactus, Julia Garner as Shalla-Bal/Silver Surfer, and stars like Paul Walter Hauser, John Malkovich, and Natasha Lyonne in undisclosed roles.

The storyline centers around the threat posed by Galactus and Silver Surfer to Earth, promising high stakes and intense drama. The screenplay is a collaborative effort by Matt Shakman, Josh Friedman of ‘Avatar: The Way of Water’, and Cam Squires from ‘WandaVision’, with a final touch by Eric Pearson of ‘Black Widow’.

The filming site, Durdle Door, is no stranger to the big screen, having been featured in productions like ‘Doctor Who’, where it served as the backdrop for Jodie Whittaker’s regeneration into David Tennant, ‘The Sandman’, and ‘Wonka’.

As filming progresses, we might soon see other members of Marvel’s First Family in their suits, adding more excitement to the anticipation surrounding this movie.

Scheduled for release on July 25, 2025, ‘The Fantastic Four: First Steps’ is shaping up to be a thrilling addition to the MCU. We can’t wait to see how this new ensemble of characters comes to life under Shakman’s direction and how they navigate the impending doom brought by Galactus and his herald.
