Daredevil: Born Again is one of the most anticipated upcoming releases in the MCU. Set to premiere on Disney+ in March 2025, the show promises to fully integrate Daredevil into the MCU, along with a host of characters from his Netflix series.
With this new installment comes a fresh suit. As you may know, Daredevil has sported several costumes in live action, evolving from his homemade black suit to a professionally crafted red armored suit over the course of three seasons.
In She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, fans were treated to Daredevil’s Yellow and Red Suit, which presented a less gritty appearance that matched the show’s lighter, more comedic tone. The yellow helmet and accents paid tribute to the retro, comic-accurate design of his classic debut costume from the 1960s.
However, it appears that Born Again is returning to a grittier aesthetic, as set leaks have revealed a new and updated armored suit. The suit features a predominantly red color with some black accents. It definitely appears much redder than the Netflix version, but this could easily be adjusted in post-production.
This is the same suit we glimpsed during the show’s reshoots this spring, and as you can see, the logo is still missing.
Overall, fans are generally fond of the suit, although many are concerned about the absence of a logo and the suit’s color. However, it’s likely that the color will be corrected in post-production, especially given the expectation that the show will have a darker and gloomier tone.
However, this is likely not the only suit we’ll see in the show. The trailer presented at this year’s D-23 hinted at several potential outfits, including his black ‘Shadowland’ suit.
