Patrick Mahomes shared how Chiefs teammate Travis Kelce taught him the most important fashion lesson.
Both Kansas City stars are known for their eye-catching gameday attire, with Mahomes often appearing in stylish suits and sunglasses on road games.
‘My routine is consistent every time,’ he previously explained. ‘For home games, I normally dress casually. And if it’s an away game, I’ll put on my suit and show off a little.’
Mahomes professes to be “very superstitious,” but the quarterback is also inspired by Kelce, a close friend and teammate in Kansas City.

‘To be yourself,’ he added. ‘I believe that being yourself is the finest fashion tip you can have, regardless of what other people think.
‘I think Travis Kelce taught me that you can wear whatever you want as long as you’re confident in it.’
On September 5, the Chiefs will take on the Baltimore Ravens in their quest for another Super Bowl championship.
However, Mahomes has revealed which matchup he is most looking forward to during the 2024 season.
‘I’m always happy to play the Raiders; it’s usually a terrific game, and we always have a good time when we play against each other,’ he said.
The quarterback chose Randy Moss, a former wide receiver and six-time Pro Bowler, as his dream partner.
Mahomes also discussed how NIL (name, image, likeness – a new law allowing student-athletes to benefit from their personal brand) might have impacted his career at Texas Tech and in the NFL if it had been implemented during his college years.
‘I definitely would have stayed for my senior year, and who knows what the rest of my NFL career would have been like.’ The 28-year-old explained.
