The two-time NFL MVP quarterback Mahomes and Kelce were spotted on the field while the national anthem was being performed ahead of the primetime game at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium.

ESPN posted a TikTok clip of the NFL duo taking in the national anthem performed by the country duo Haley & Michaels.

Fans noticed, however, the differences in which Mahomes and Kelce listened to the musical performance.

Mahomes stood with his hands behind his back and expressionless during the national anthem.

As for Kelce, he was lightly jumping and tapping his feet while he held his right hand on his heart.

Fans were in hysterics over the pair’s different ways of getting ready for the NFL game.

“Travis is a literal golden retriever,” one commented.

“Travis: “I’m a happy, happy dog.” Pat: “can you behave,” another wrote.

“As a teacher it is so easy to know exactly what these two were like as kids,” a third added.

“Introvert and extrovert are the best kind of friends, ain’t nothing better,” a fourth said.

Kelce’s warmup seemed to help him more for the Monday night game as he recorded a season-high nine receptions for 70 yards.

Mahomes, meanwhile, completed 28-of-29 passes for 331 yards with no touchdowns and one interception.

The Chiefs’ win gave them a 5-0 record and, after the Week 6 bye, would proceed to win again in their next game, beating the San Francisco 49ers 28-18 in Week 7.

Mahomes struggled, however, completing 16 of 27 passes for 154 yards along with no touchdowns and two interceptions.

He would post five rushing attempts for 39 yards and a touchdown.

Kelce had a quiet showing, posting four receptions for 17 yards.

While the nine-time Pro Bowler has played a minor role in the receiving game, he has contributed to the team’s rushing game.

Running back Kareem Hunt, who rushed 22 times for 78 yards and two touchdowns, spoke about Kelce’s contributions as a run blocker.

“I can tell, he’s got to make those big blocks… he’s been doing a big job of finishing. I appreciate that from him,” he said after the Week 7 win.

Kansas City will look to stay undefeated when they face the division rival Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday.
