Matt Lauer’s Daughter Romy Crashes In Hamptons and Flees — But Leaves License Plate Behind For Cops to Find

Matt Lauer’s daughter has reportedly crashed her car into a giant fence in the Hamptons and tried her best to escape from the scene of the crime.

Despite her errors in fleeing from the crime scene, she left her vehicle’s number plate behind which made it very easy for the cops to track her down.

Upon tracking, she was said to be Matt Lauer’s daughter who slammed her Wrangler jeep into the fence and fell off the fender bender as a result of that.

This allowed the cops from the nearby Southampton Town police to trace down her ID and alert her respective star parents.

Lauer and his former model wife Anette Roque share the child and therefore were issued a summons regarding the incident.

Another source spoke about a ticket that was issued to the family’s attorney Edward Burke Jr who is still involved in the case. He hopes to assist them in finding a suitable solution soon, insiders confirmed.

Another source did share how a ticket related to the matter was issued and that the local powerhouse attorney is also known for handling plenty of other cases belonging to high-profile celebs and their children so this is not the first one.

Other such clients include Justin Timberlake and Matt Lauer himself.
