Offset’s Desperate Plea: In a Moment of Crisis, He Begs Cardi B to Return Amidst Tumultuous Times!

Offset staged an apparent attempt at reconciliation during Cardi B’s performance at the Rolling Loud Festival in Los Angeles on Saturday night, and accidentally illustrated once and for all the importance of privacy in all matters of the heart. The Migos member, arriving midway through Cardi’s set, interrupted the performer with his own scene, rolling out a large display of roses and baked goods, the latter of which spelled out “Take Me Back, Cardi.” (Last week, Cardi had announced their split in a now-deleted Instagram post, writing, “We got a lot of love for each other, but things haven’t been working out between us for a long time.”)

Earlier on Saturday, Offset, who just celebrated his 27th birthday, shared an emotional video on Instagram: “I only got one birthday wish and that’s to get my wife back Cardi,” he said. “We’re going through a lot of things right now, a lot of things in the media. I want to apologize to you Cardi. I embarrassed you. I made you go crazy.”

Saturday night’s gesture, though certainly outsized, seemed poorly conceived for someone attempting to demonstrate personal growth. As many fans pointed out, Offset turned up to literally steal the spotlight while Cardi was on stage; after some heated exchanges off-mic, Cardi B had both Offset and his over-the-top arrangements removed.

It didn’t take long for fans to tear into Offset, many mocking his attempt to win her back. Cardi took to social media on Sunday to defend her estranged husband (and father of her 5-month-old daughter, Kulture Kiari) asking fans to respect their privacy as they continue sorting through their issues. “I see a lot of people bashing me because they feel that because I’m defending my baby father, they think that I’m gonna get back together with him,” she said. “I’m not saying that I’m gonna get back together with him. I just don’t like that bashing online thing.” She continued: “God could give me and bring me the most perfect, glamorous, fabulous man—that perfect, glamorous, fabulous, perfect man is not going to love my child the same way her father loves my child.”

In her post Cardi also made reference to Pete Davidson, who had recently sent out an alarming Instagram in response to the continued online bullying he’s endured since his split from Ariana Grande. “Just earlier, you just saw how Pete Davidson was talking about how he don’t even want to be on this earth because mad people be coming at him every single day,” she wrote. “I wouldn’t want my baby father to have that feeling because of millions of people be bashing him every day. That’s a nasty feeling, and I wouldn’t want that.”
