You’ve probably heard that Marvel Comics announced a new Star Wars comic book series at this year’s New York Comic-Con. We have already reported on it. You also probably know that it is going to be set during the Prequel Trilogy’s Old Republic Era, which was the most exciting period for the Jedi.

The series promises us a lot of great moments as well as lightsaber battles and will hopefully deliver what the fans want. Star Wars: Jedi Knights will debut in March 2025, and until then, we are happy to reveal as much information about the series as we actually have.

As said, we have already reported on the series, and in this report, we are going to tell you about the fan reactions to the announced series. From what we could gather, the series is definitely going to be a blast, and the fans are very excited about it.

The series will be written by Emmy Award-winning screenwriter Marc Guggenheim. He is also an acclaimed writer of Star Wars comics like Star Wars: Han Solo & Chewbacca and Star Wars: Yoda.

The art will be done by rising star Madibek Musabekov, known for his work on Star Wars and X-Men Red. Based on the artwork we’ve seen, the series promises to be highly realistic. Readers can expect a proper cinematic experience.

As for the official story, here is how Marvel described the series:

Taking place before The Phantom Menace, STAR WARS: JEDI KNIGHTS stars the Jedi Order as fans came to know it during the Prequel Trilogy including legendary characters like Qui-Gon Jinn, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Yoda, Count Dooku, Mace Windu, and many more. In addition to featuring iconic and fan-favorite Jedi duo, the series will introduce all new Jedi characters that served the Republic during this pivotal era.

Each issue will spotlight a different Jedi duo on a different mission throughout the galaxy, but an overarching threat binds them together. Who is the mysterious new villain targeting Qui-Gon Jinn for death and how will it force the Jedi Order to evolve for a new age?

As you can see, this is definitely something that the fans can support, and we actually understand the hype that is being created around this series. Here are some of the fan comments that corroborate this:
