It's not even November yet and Walmart has already announced its Black Friday sale for 2024. Similar to last year, the retail giant will be launching its sale across multiple different dates. The main difference this year, however, is that the first event will start even earlier than before.
The Walmart Black Friday sale begins online Monday, November 11 and in stores starting on Friday, November 15. That's only the first round of deals, and Walmart will launch its second sale the following week.

When Does the Walmart Black Friday Sale Start?
According to the press release from Walmart, the Black Friday sale will officially kick off on Monday, November 11 at 12pm ET/9am PT for Walmart+ members and 5pm ET / 2pm PT for everyone else. This start time is only for the online sale, but in-store deals will begin on November 15. This is only the first part of the sale and there is a second round of discounts coming the following week. Starting on Monday, November 25, Walmart will begin its main Black Friday sale, which will run all the way through December 1 when Cyber Monday deals begin.

Walmart Black Friday Ad
Walmart has not yet released a Black Friday ad for 2024, but we expect one to arrive sometime before the second round of deals begins. If you're looking for an idea of what to expect from this year's ad, you can check out the Walmart Black Friday ad scan from last year for more details.
What Deals Should You Expect?
The Walmart Black Friday sale is one of the biggest online sales with prices comparable to Amazon's Black Friday sale. Although we don't know everything that will be discounted during both of these upcoming sales events, we do have some information to go off of. Walmart is offering a sneak peek of some of the deals it will be offering, and we can reference 2023 to fill in the rest of the gaps. Here's a quick rundown of what we expect to see.
Apple Products
Some of the best Black Friday deals at Walmart every year are actually on Apple products. All of the retailers tend to compete for the lowest price on every Apple Watch, iPad, and iPhone model available. Walmart will often have the lowest price on one of these. We will likely see the 10th generation iPad drop back down to $199 or lower and a substantial discount on AirPods and Apple Watches as well. Walmart will often had some sort of carrier deal for phones as well, making it a great time to buy a new iPhone.
Video Games and Consoles
Pretty much every major online retailer will have deals on video games and consoles during Black Friday season. Walmart is no different, but it does often have discounts you won't find elsewhere. During Labor Day weekend, for example, Walmart had the lowest prices on Switch games anywhere. They also have some exclusive Switch Lite consoles you can't buy anywhere else. Considering Nintendo already announced the Switch Black Friday bundles, we expect Walmart to be one of the best places to find these deals.
TVs
Walmart is known to offer some incredibly low prices on TVs during Black Friday sales. This makes this season the overall best time to buy a TV from the retailer, and you can expect lower prices than Best Buy and Amazon on certain brands. The only TV deal Walmart has already announced is on the 65" Samsung DU69 4K Smart TV, which will drop to $398. However, you can expect low prices on Vizio, Hisense, and TCL TVs as well. Walmart also owns the onn. brand, which always has 4K options for extremely cheap during sales events.
Toys
For parents, you can expect discounts on toys to be a big part of the Walmart sale. This includes everything from Pokemon plushies to Disney LEGO sets and Hot Wheels tracks. Walmart will often have exclusive price reductions on certain models that you won't find anywhere else. This is especially true if you're looking for one of those ride-on cars for your kids.
Home Appliances
Quite a few of the early Black Friday deals Walmart announced in its press release are actually kitchen appliances and home electronics. This includes a slow cooker for $15 and the Dyson V12 cordless vacuum for just $399.99. We expect to see even more of these types of discounts as the sale rolls out, and Walmart often offers exclusive discounts on certain models that you won't find anywhere else (including a Keurig coffee maker).
Do You Need a Walmart+ Membership to Shop the Sale?
You don't need to be a Walmart+ member to access the Walmart Black Friday sale in 2024, but members do get access to the deals earlier than everyone else. The benefit of a membership in this context is that some of the best deals could be gone by the time non-members are able to access them.
