It has officially been a year since Matthew Perry’s unexpected death.
The actor was best known for his role as Chandler Bing on Friends. The series ran from Sept. 1994 to May 2004 and aired for 10 seasons with a total of 236 episodes. The show starred Jennifer Aniston as Rachel Green, Courteney Cox as Monica Geller, Lisa Kudrow as Phoebe Buffay, Matt LeBlanc as Joey Tribbiani, David Schwimmer as Ross Geller and Matthew as Chandler.
The show stole the hearts of many and meant a lot to the cast as well. The cast came together in 2021 for a Friends: The Reunion special, which was the last time many saw Matthew Perry with his fellow castmates before he died in October 2023 from a ketamine overdose and five people have been charged.

Courteney kept a close friendship with Matthew throughout the years. Their characters on the show were best friends but then turned into lovers. Fans of the show saw their relationship blossom.
The actress paid tribute to her dear friend on Monday and posted two pictures with the late actor on Instagram. One picture showed the two looking at one another with a smile on their faces. The other picture was a group picture with their Friends co-stars. She captioned the post: “Missing you today and always [red heart] @matthewperryfoundation.”
Courteney’s followers sent their love to his family and friends and paid tribute in their own way. One person wrote: “Ive been watching the show today on repeat, just remembering his brilliance. Sending love to everyone missing him!” Another person wrote: “Today I picked up his memoir and oh my goodness…” A third person wrote: “Sending love & hugs to U hunni, Jen Lisa Matt & David…. & All who knew & loved him!… Xxx.” A fourth wrote: “Ive been watching the show again and it really hits home with every episode. You guys could not have been any better together, and I know you cared about each other genuinely in real life.”
Jennifer also paid tribute to the late actor sharing a carousel of pictures of the two on Instagram.
