Cardi B’s appearance at Madison Square Garden helped the Hot Girl Summer Tour sell out tickets

Megan Thee Stallion brought her Hot Girl Summer Tour to New York City to play Madison Square Garden, otherwise known as the World’s Most Famous Arena.

After having kicked off her new trek on the road, which will take her through the U.S. and parts of Europe with GloRilla as the opener, the sold out crowd erupted with cheers about midway into the show when Cardi B made a surprise appearance.

The dynamic duo then proceeded to deliver a version of their collaboration, Bongos (2023), that was followed up by their chart-topping hit WAP (2020).

The ladies also got to play together with the star of the tout showing off her fab figure in a pink minidress with opening in the front and back

The two rappers and friends, decked out in black bodysuits, seemed to relish in their sexuality, womanhood and sisterhood, while moving and dancing together, which included no shortage of twerking as they commanded the stage together.

The pair ultimately decided to make it a party on stage by breaking into a verse from GloRilla’s Tomorrow 2, that prompted the Memphis rhymer to return to the stage to create a trio of female emcee hip-hop stars, according to People.

‘Aye, y’all, we got a special motherf***ing announcement. I need y’all to stay tuned,’ GloRilla teased the audience, as seen in videos on social media. ‘Make sure y’all tune in tonight ’cause I ain’t telling you right now.’

Seemingly stunned, Megan (born Megan Jovon Ruth Pete), 29, didn’t sound like she wanted to wait, saying, ‘Now how you gonna tease that then try to walk away?’

After a bit of banter the star of the Hot Girl Summer Tour, Stallion’s first headlining concert tour in support of her upcoming third studio album, prompted GloRilla to come clean.

‘Y’all wanna hear Wanna Be with motherf***ing Cardi B?’ GloRilla (born Gloria Hallelujah Woods), 24, yelled out, before Megan confirmed she’s about to drop a remix of Wanna Be with Cardi.

At last check, a release date for the Wanna Be remix has not yet been announced publicly.

The Hot Girl Summer Tour kicked off on May 14 at Target Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Cardi B flashed a peace sign when she was seen mulling about backstage

After two shows in Chicago and another in Detroit, Stallion rolled her crew up to MSG for her big show in the the big city on Tuesday, May, 21.

Being in the hometown of Cardi B, who’s from the Bronx in New York City, it seemed like a perfect time for her to come out and support Megan.

Cardi was also seen backstage greeting GloRilla

Megan and Cardi performed two songs together, Bongos, and then WAP, while both were decked out in olunging black bodysuits

‘Hotties I am really back here tearing up,’ Megan revealed in an Instagram post ahead of her NYC concert. ‘We really got a SOLD OUT show at the most famous arena in the world @thegarden like huhhh??? NYC hotties lets have a BLAST TONIGHT I LOVE YALL #HOTGIRLSUMMERTOUR.’

The tour will take her through the U.S. to such cities like Philadelphia, Boston, Memphis, Atlanta, New Orleans, Houston, and Los Angeles in the coming weeks through June 23 in San Francisco.

From there, she’s heads to Europe for eight shows beginning in Glasgow, Scotland on July 4, that takes her to places like Paris, Amsterdam and London, among others.

Ultimately, she returns to the U.S, for one last show of the tour at Audi Field in Washington, D.C. on July 27, as part of the Broccoli City Festival.
