Love Island USA star Ariana Madix set for huge career change as Vanderpump Rules filming uncertain

Ever since the aftermath of Scandoval, Ariana Madix’s career saw an absolute surge with her booking plenty of gigs to stay busy.

Her latest endeavor pulls her away from reality television, and instead, into the wonderful world of acting. Ariana is set to guest star on season three of the TV series Will Trent. However, it shouldn’t be too difficult for her to shimmy into the role as she’s just playing herself. Her show-self will pop by Atlanta to stage in intervention for a friend and she hires Detective Ormewood as security detail.

This isn’t her only time playing a fictionalized version of herself. She also appeared on The Other Two. Plus, her acting roster includes Anger Management, Dads, Working It Out, Dead End, and Buying Back My Daughter. Off-the-screen, Ariana embraced a more theatrical style with her recent Broadway stint for the musical Chicago.

It doesn’t seem like she’ll be fully turning away from reality television, though. After all, she did recently host Love Island USA for the first time. Recently, she also took some time to compete on Dancing With The Stars where she placed third after highlighting her dancing skills. She’s also set to return to Vanderpump Rules for season 12.

As for how Ariana’s busy schedule will shake out, it’s a bit of an enigma. Details on when season 12 will begin to film weren’t yet confirmed, so it’s hard to say how it will play into her larger career plans.

Ariana also has some legal issues to worry about, stemming from the massive Scandoval event. Her ex, Tom Sandoval, filed a lawsuit against the television star. The fallout was the result of Tom cheating on Ariana with her friend Rachel Leviss which was discovered after Ariana found explicit photos on Tom’s phone.

However, that’s what might have landed her in trouble. Tom slammed her with a civil lawsuit, which accused her of accessing those photos without authorization, according to documents obtained by US Weekly. Madix’s attorney Jordan Susman issued a statement about the lawsuit. “It is abhorrent that Tom Sandoval continues to torment Ms. Madix. From engaging in an illicit affair that shattered her home and stability, to months of emotional warfare and now this attempt to further shirk personal responsibility for the effects his actions have had on her and her emotional wellbeing.”

“Tom Sandoval knows full well what sort of privileges he and Ms. Madix shared in regard to their personal communication devices. If he or his mistress had their way, it would be illegal for someone to discover their spouse or significant other was having an affair.”
