People left stunned after realising they could buy tiny home from Amazon for just £15,000

You can buy almost anything from Amazon, including a new home.

With every passing year, it seems to get more and more difficult to get a foot on the property ladder.

When you’ve got to actually bid for a rented flat, pitting yourself against other desperate house hunters looking trying to secure a roof over their head, you know there’s a serious issue.

And while most assume Amazon is just an endless digital warehouse filled with all manners of weird and wonderful items, from power tools to novelty socks, few would have it down as an estate agents.

But one man decided to take the plunge when he came across a ‘tiny house’ for sale on the site.

Due to the constantly rising housing costs, the concept of tiny living has become the new normal, with an increasing number of people opting to downsize where they live in a bid to cut costs and make housing more affordable.

There are lots of retailers selling tiny homes and now it seems that Amazon has jumped on the trend, offering a range of tiny houses.

One TikTok user Nathan Graham, who goes by @unspeakable_fanytb, ordered one of these tiny homes from the site, and shared the results with his followers.

The video, which went viral and got over 21 million views, shows Graham in his 19-foot-by-20-foot pre-built home, which cost him just £15,000 ($20,000).

In his video, Graham can be seen ordering the pre-built house on Amazon, before having it delivered to his garden. Once the new gaff arrives, he removes the packaging, opens the door, and walks inside, demonstrating that tiny houses are, quite literally, ready to use straight away – which is both incredible and deeply, deeply depressing.

Inside the house there’s a hallway and a bathroom already set up, but the rest of the house needs folding out and slotting into place. Once all put together – a process that Graham and his friends quickly complete – the tiny abode triples in size, revealing two additional spaces.

The compact house comes with most facilities fitted, including plumbing connections, plus plenty of space for adding furniture, however, it does not come with electrical wiring, so this is something that needs adding after purchase – preferably by a professional.

Responding to Graham’s video, stunned TikTok users have shared their thoughts on the purchase.

One user simply said: “Worth it”.

Another responded: “I actually think this is cool it would be easy to get land somewhere and put this up and live decent”.

While a third asked: “What address do you ship it to if you don’t have a house?”

It’s an option, I guess.
