The Baltimore Ravens traded for now-former Carolina Panthers receiver Diontae Johnson prior to Week 9.
Still looking to get acclimated, he played just 17 offensive snaps and was not targeted during his Ravens debut in Week 9’s win over the Denver Broncos.
He had a second chance to get things right on Thursday Night Football.
On Thursday, Diontae Johnson was yet again a non-factor as he played just one snap on Baltimore’s first three offensive drives and finished the game with five snaps, two targets, one reception and six yards.
He was invisible out there.
Following the victory, Johnson would take to his X account and speak out with a cryptic message.
“It’s always two sides to a story 🤷🏾♂️,” Johnson posted.

It remains unclear what Johnson means about his tweet, but he is likely responding to the many people bringing up his lack of production so far through two games.
Ravens WR Diontae Johnson May Be Starting Off Slow But He Can Be A Huge Part of What Baltimore Wants To Do
Regardless of what the stats say, the trade could soon pay major dividends for Johnson in the long run.
He’s now in a position to chase a Super Bowl with the Ravens. A one-time Pro Bowler who spent the first five years of his career with the Pittsburgh Steelers after they selected him in the third round of the 2019 NFL Draft, Diontae Johnson racked up 30 catches for 357 yards and three touchdowns with the Panthers this season before arriving in Baltimore.
Once he and Lamar Jackson can start clicking on the field, the sky is the limit for the Ravens.
