Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes completed a pass to Mecole Hardman on Monday away from the football field.
In fact, it was in the Loews Kansas City hotel during a gala for Mahomes’ 15 and the Mahomies foundation.
Hardman and Chiefs coach Andy Reid were on hand for the event, which saw 15 and the Mahomies give more than $1 million to charities.
“Over 850 incredible supporters in attendance and $1,077,000 granted to 20 Kansas City charities up on stage,” the foundation wrote on its Instagram account.“Thank you to all of our amazing partners who continue to help us take this event to a new level each year. Together, we are changing lives. Let’s keep it rolling!”
Here is what the foundation shared on Instagram.
Watson Links, which is led Tom Watson, “provides opportunities for kids to play golf alongside a mentor, inspiring lifelong players who benefit from the positive experiences associated with the game.”
It received a grant from the foundation. Watson Links shared this on Instagram.

This is the charity’s aim, via its website: “15 and the Mahomies is dedicated to improving the lives of children. The Foundation supports initiatives that focus on health, wellness, communities in need of resources and other charitable causes.”
