A hotel guest has claimed they heard a ‘really loud, violent scream’ from Liam Payne’s room at the CasaSur Palermo Hotel shortly before the One Direction singer was found dead
A hotel guest reported hearing a “really loud, violent scream” from Liam Payne’s room shortly before the tragic discovery of the One Direction star’s death, it is reported.
The same source confided to People magazine about the disturbing noises at the CasaSur Palermo Hotel – which they claim came from Payne’s room prior to the incident, saying they also heard crashing sounds. They added: “I thought it was construction. I thought they were working on the room,” while describing sounds akin to “heavy lifting” or “banging”.
This witness also observed hotel staff frequently entering and exiting Payne’s room and noted “more noise” leading up to 4.30pm local time, including that “really loud, violent scream.”
Pablo Policicchio, a spokesperson for the Security Ministry of Buenos Aires municipality, detailed that police received a call around 5pm regarding an “aggressive man who could be under the influence of drugs or alcohol.”
Upon their arrival, officers were met with the grim scene of Payne’s body.
His death was confirmed on-site by medical personnel.
A preliminary autopsy indicated that Payne had sustained multiple traumas from a fall, resulting in both internal and external bleeding.
Alberto Crescenti, an emergency medical doctor, spoke to the US Sun, stating: “Our role was to head there quickly, give medical attention and try to resuscitate him, but his injuries were incompatible with life.”
As of now, authorities have remained silent on whether Payne was under any influence at the time of his demise.
