Congratulations are in order for Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott and his partner—and now fiancée—Sarah Jane Ramos. The couple, who welcomed a little girl earlier this year, got engaged over the weekend during a round of golf; the NFL star shared the happy news on Instagram with a few photos of the on-the-green proposal (which came together with a little help from his daughter, who wore a telling onesie) and subsequent celebration. “Mine Forever!!!! The Best Friend, Partner, Teammate, Mother, and Now Fiancé I could Ask or Pray for!” the football player wrote. “Thank you God for this Blessing and Family! I Love you @sarahjane 4EVER!”
The photo carousel also showed off Ramos’ major engagement ring, which was made by the team at Jason of Beverly Hills. The jewelry company took to Instagram to give fans a closer look at the 10-carat emerald-cut stone, which was set on an 18-karat gold band between two additional tapered baguette diamonds. As for the ring’s estimated value? According to the New York Post, the piece clocks in around $1 million—which is actually less than one week’s salary for Prescott, the player with the largest salary in the NFL (the “three-month rule” looks a little different when you make $60 million per year!).

Prescott reached out to Arasheben shortly after signing a $240 million extension earlier this year, making him the highest paid player in NFL history and ensuring he remains a Cowboy for the next four years. Per the jewelry designer, he was heavily involved in the design process. “In my business, there are high maintenance clients and then there’s Dak,” Jason Arasheben, the CEO Jason of Beverly Hills, said in a press release shortly after news of the couple’s engagement broke. “Dak was so easy to work with and was very intentional with every detail of this ring. He was involved in every aspect and really wanted this to be a ring [Ramos] would love. He wanted something classic but with a little flare and that’s exactly what we did.”

Ramos, a certified wine and spirits specialist, and Prescott first sparked relationship rumors last year, when she attended the quarterback’s first game of the 2023 season; they welcomed their daughter, Margaret Rose, on Leap Day in March 2024. Though the couple has kept their relationship largely out of the public eye, Ramos has supported her now-fiancé during major career milestones. After he signed his historic extension, she voiced that support on Instagram Stories, per People: “The most deserving man and the best partner and father. We love you,” she wrote.
