They came out 27-20 victors over bitter rivals the Las Vegas Raiders at the Allegiant Stadium.

That took their record to an impressive 7-0, as they hunt for a historic third Super Bowl in a row.

But there was one huge concern that came out of the visit to Sin City.

Superstar quarterback Mahomes picked up an ankle problem during the win.

He is feared to have rolled it, late on in the contest.

And Chiefs head coach Reid has given the latest on the worrying issue.

“He’s fine.” Reid told reporters following the Sunday win.

Chiefs fans reacted with relief at the news – but were keen for updates.

One said: “This is worrying. Could be an issue going forward.”

Another added: “I hope he’s going to be OK!”

A third commented: “One of those injuries that could be an issue later in the season.”

And a fourth said: “I hope Reid comes out and gives another update.”

Mahomes managed to finish the Raiders win, with some impressive stats.

The 29-year-old completed 27 of his 38 passes for 262 yards.

The Super Bowl MVP also threw for two touchdowns and one interception.

It was revenge for the Raiders beating the Chiefs over Christmas last season.

It wasn’t the only issue the Chiefs suffered following the victory.

Corner Jaylen Watson suffered a concussion during the contest.

The 26-year-old was replaced by Nazeeh Johnson in the position.

Meanwhile, tight end Jody Fortson hurt his right knee during the game.
