In a surprising move, Marvel Studios opted not to include post-credits scenes in the finale of ‘Agatha All Along,’ despite these being a staple in most of their projects.
Showrunner Jac Schaeffer shared that she had written several post-credits scenes as she does for all Marvel projects she works on, but Marvel chose to exclude them this time.
Details on two unused post-credits scenes were shared by scooper MTTSH, though they reportedly lacked excitement.
One scene would have featured Jennifer Kale in her search for a doctor she believed had taken her powers.
The other scene involved the characters Death, Wiccan, and Ghost Agatha entering a portal on a quest to find Tommy Maximoff.
The series stars Kathryn Hahn as Agatha Harkness, who embarks on a dangerous journey after a mysterious teen frees her from a spell and convinces her to undertake the Witches’ Road—a magical trial promising to restore a witch’s lost abilities.
Along with Hahn, the cast includes Joe Locke, Sasheer Zamata, Ali Ahn, Maria Dizzia, Paul Adelstein, Miles Gutierrez-Riley, Okwui Okpokwasili, Debra Jo Rupp, Patti LuPone, and Aubrey Plaza.
Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, Brad Winderbaum, Mary Livanos, and Jac Schaeffer are the executive producers, with Schaeffer also directing alongside Rachel Goldberg and Gandja Montiero.
As for the future of ‘Agatha All Along,’ there’s potential for more seasons despite it being submitted for awards as a limited series.
The Television Academy defines limited series as having no recurring storylines or main characters in subsequent seasons, which hints that Agatha and Wiccan’s adventures might continue in the upcoming ‘Vision’ series, said to be the third part of a trilogy that began with ‘WandaVision.’
All episodes of ‘Agatha All Along’ are available for streaming on Disney+.
