Agatha All Along recently wrapped up with its final two episodes. The show brought several character stories to a close while setting up exciting possibilities for others. Agatha’s story ended in episode 8, where she faced a dramatic twist.

In this second-to-last episode, Agatha finally accepts that she can’t escape Death forever. In a surprising act of sacrifice, she chooses to give herself up so that Billy Maximoff can survive.

Luckily for fans, Agatha comes back in spirit form. With endless time ahead of her and unable to face her son in the afterlife, she chooses to stay close to Billy as he sets out to find his twin brother, Tommy.

If you remember from episode 8, Agatha and Billy managed to pull Tommy’s soul from “the void” and place it into a young boy who had tragically drowned. Billy now knows his brother’s soul is out there, but finding him won’t be easy.

Billy’s journey with Tommy is far from over, and it seems Agatha’s story with Aubrey Plaza’s Lady Death isn’t over either. According to Marvel insider MyTimeToShineHello, a cut post-credit scene showed Lady Death (Rio Vidal) following Agatha and Billy through a portal at the end of episode 9.

It’s worth noting that MyTimeToShineHello has had mixed success with leaks in the past, but they did get a few major details about Agatha All Along right, including two big spoilers for the finale.

Agatha and Rio have a complex past, and not all of it has been fully explained. Now that this post-credit scene might be real, it makes us wonder if the two could finally put their issues behind them now that they’re no longer enemies.

There are plenty of upcoming projects where both characters could appear, especially in stories related to Scarlet Witch’s part of the MCU. Recently, there have been a lot of rumors about Marvel Studios developing a standalone project for Wiccan. Since Agatha is now closely tied to Billy’s journey, it’s likely that Death will play a role too.
