Recently, a poster claiming Brie Larson would star in a new Star Wars movie called ‘Revan’ has been circulating online. Set to release in 2027, the poster shows Larson dressed as a Jedi with purple and gold robes, a black and red mask, and wielding lightsabers of purple and red.

Despite the buzz, the poster is a fake, created digitally with no official plans for such a movie revealed. It was shared on Facebook along with a caption suggesting that Disney is planning to focus more on Star Wars films post-2026, following the success of ‘The Mandalorian and Grogu.’ This move to produce a film about The Old Republic, casting Larson for her popularity in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), was part of the fictional announcement.

Brie Larson has expressed her love for Star Wars multiple times. She has a history of auditioning for roles within the franchise, including one in 2018’s ‘Solo: A Star Wars Story,’ which she did not get. In 2019, she conveyed her desire to play a Jedi during a discussion with Samuel L. Jackson, who is famous for his role as Mace Windu. Larson even shared how holding Jackson’s lightsaber on May the 4th moved her to tears.

Her interest in Star Wars is not new. Larson has often shown her fandom, such as posting pictures in Jedi attire or next to Star Wars characters like C-3PO. She also hinted at potential Star Wars involvement through social media posts, like one featuring her with ‘space buns,’ which fans speculated might indicate her joining the franchise.

While no official casting has happened yet, Larson remains hopeful about joining the Star Wars universe. She continues to engage with fans about her passion for these stories, suggesting it’s only a matter of time before she finds her place in them.

For those eager to see Larson in action now, her MCU films as Captain Marvel are available on Disney+, along with the entire Star Wars saga. Whether her dream of becoming a Jedi becomes a reality, Larson’s enthusiasm for Star Wars is clear, and fans are just as eager to see where her journey in the galaxy takes her.
