Only a few weeks stand between us and the release of ‘Venom: The Last Dance.’ The movie is of significant importance for the franchise overall as it’s the last installment, but it’s also going to introduce Knull – one of Marvel’s most powerful villains.

All movies in the ‘Venom’ franchise take place in the SSU. Despite all being based on Marvel comic characters they are not part of the MCU, this is due to complicated Spider-Man rights between Sony and Disney/Marvel.

It’s long been a running gag that Sony’s Spider-Man universe doesn’t have Spider-Man in it, but this might soon change, or at least it looks like it’s starting to change. ‘Madame Web’ introduced us to Uncle Ben in the SSU and Peter’s mother, and now it seems that ‘Venom 3’ is going to introduce us to young Peter Parker.

A recently released short teaser for the movie might have spoiled Peter Parker’s cameo, as fans are convinced that the blonde boy in the teaser who looks up to Eddie at 00:05 mark is a child who’s going to grow up to become Spider-Man.

This might make sense if Sony is setting up a new Spider-Man trilogy, or perhaps a new Spider-Man variant that’s going to eventually crossover to the MCU alongside Knull.

Yes, Knull is rumored to be both the reason for the SSU-MCU merger as well as rumored to be the villain of the upcoming ‘Spider-Man 4.’

You’re probably also wondering how ‘Madame Web’s’ hints at Peter Parker’s birth connected to the upcoming movie. Well, ‘Madame Web’ by all logic does take place prior to the events of ‘Venom: The Last Dance,’ but prior to the movie’s release the director of the movie explained that ‘Madame Web’ takes place in a separate timeline and in a separate universe, so there’s no connection.

Let’s see what the fans are saying:

‘Venom: The Last Dance’ drops on October 25 internationally. Have something to add? Let us know in the comments below!
