Mephisto is coming to the MCU. Is he? Really? When? Now? In Agatha All Along? Later? Wasn’t he already teased? Isn’t he already part of the MCU? And we could go on for hours about Mephisto and his role in the MCU.
One of Marvel’s big baddies is a character that the fans have been wanting to see since forever, and Marvel hasn’t been shy about teasing us with Mephisto.
Okay, we know that the character does exist in the MCU, as he has been mentioned in earlier movies, but he hasn’t yet made an appearance officially. It is heavily speculated that he might finally appear in Agatha All Along, which seems – at this point – the best way for Marvel to introduce the character.
It is heavily rumored that Sacha Baron Cohen is going to play Mephisto in the MCU, and if that rumor proves to be true, then Marvel has already teased us in a brilliant way, as some of the fans observed.
As stated, Mephisto has a very rich history in the MCU, which is quite ironic since the character hasn’t made an official appearance in any MCU film or show, at least not that we know of.
The fans have been crying “Mephisto” for a while now, but so far, none of those cries have turned out to be correct, and we’re still waiting for the infernal villain to actually appear in the MCU.
For some time now, it has been speculated that Sacha Baron Cohen is going to play Mephisto in the MCU, and while this hasn’t been confirmed officially, the fans have noticed an interesting connection between Cohen and the character of Mephisto in the MCU, as follows:
FUN FACT: The date “October 13” on the library card in #AgathaAllAlong is the exact birthdate of Sacha Baron Cohen, who is rumored to be playing Mephisto in the #MCU. pic.twitter.com/V5EXxRr8jL

Now, okay, the card says Wanda Maximoff, but there are so many connections there that we cannot really ignore it just like that, although – to be honest – this is probably just an interesting coincidence rather than something planned out, although we might end up being surprised by Marvel in the end.
Of course, this coincidence had the fans going crazy and the “Mephisto” cries began appearing once again, which is why we actually decided to report on this. As for the fans, here is how they reacted to this:
We are 300% going to see Mephisto show up in Agatha. I just hope it isn't held until the very end of the last episode.

I think is just a coincidence.
Like, the only reference by far to Mephisto, that was mentioned to be something deeper, is just the mention that Jen made. Plus, is likely a reference to some people that worked on Marvel.— Halloween_2024🇮🇹 (@Lorenzo74209291) October 13, 2024
Is this the Marvel Universe’s way of saying we should all celebrate with a little chaos and comedy on October 13?
