Warner Bros. has been rethinking its approach to the DC cinematic universe after the previous setup, led by Zack Snyder, didn’t pan out as hoped. With James Gunn and Peter Safran at the helm, they’re rebuilding everything from scratch. Their efforts are set to debut on the big screen with a new Superman movie next year, and there are also several TV projects in the pipeline.
Amidst all this activity, there’s a fresh rumor swirling around the DC universe. According to a post by Everything_DCU on Twitter, Adria Arjona might soon join the DCU. While this news isn’t confirmed and should be taken with caution, it’s stirred quite a bit of excitement.

Who Might Adria Arjona Play in the DCU?

She has the look and vibe that could beautifully fit the iconic role, especially since Gal Gadot, who famously played Wonder Woman, isn’t expected to return.
Alternatively, Arjona could be involved with the ‘Paradise Lost’ series that’s in development. This wouldn’t necessarily mean she’d play Wonder Woman, but she could still be part of that world in a different capacity.
Other possibilities for her role include heroes like Green Lantern Jessica Cruz or the magical Zatanna, or even a villainous character. The possibilities are extensive, but Wonder Woman seems like the top choice for us and many fans.
As of now, these discussions are based solely on unverified rumors. We’re waiting to see if James Gunn himself sheds light on this speculation. Whatever role Arjona might take on, her involvement would undoubtedly be a thrilling addition to the revamped DC universe.
